Debating
Now that I have a job again (starting Monday). I’m thinking about getting a new digital camera. Back in May, I managed to drop my digital camera and brake it. I was told it would cost $175 to fix.
For a bit more, I could get a new one. Well, I took the camera apart and managed to fix it myself. It still gives me trouble … I have to sometimes shake it gently before it will turn on. But I’ve had that camera for a LONG time. Can’t remember when I got it, but it’s gotta be a couple years ago. Time for a new one anyways.
Even though I won’t have the money left in my savings after paying next month’s rent, I’m still thinking about getting a new camera. The one I was is the Canon A75 (I musta had a brain fart when I first posted this. I said the A70 and meant the A75 … too much time on the computer today … LOL). I can get it online for $208 plus shipping … I think shipping is $15. Last time I looked at Walmart, they had it for $237. I might even check on the Canon A80 and see what it’s selling for now.
I can always put it on my credit card. I hate doing that, but with the new job, I can pay it off. I’m not sure how long mine’s gonna hold out. And Avalanche is gonna start playing in town again soon, and I need a working camera so I can get pics for the website. That is if they get more web space. I should really email Brad about that.
okay
Howdy :)
Wal-mart has the A75 for $346 and DCResource gives it a really good review. The only thing wrong with it is its crappy movie mode :)
I would recommend this camera made by fuji http://www.fujifilm.co.uk/digital/cameras/s3000/?lpage=/digital/cameras/range.php
Fuji makes good digital cameras in my opinion!
My current camera (the broken one) is a Fuji camera … the FinePix 2600Zoom. It’s served me well. It sure got a lot of use. Someone recommended the Canon A series to me, that’s why I started looking at that. I just need a basic camera … nothing to fancy or flashy. Most of the pics I take go on the web anyways.
