I’ve been wearing this pair of contacts for way too long. They’re my last pair. I haven’t had the money to go in since I was out of work. Now that I’m working again, I figured I’d better go. That, and I think wearing old contacts is giving me headaches from time to time.

I pulled out my last bill. The last time I went was the end of September 2002. 2 years … wow. Guess I SHOULD go again. I looked in the phone book for the phone number, but it wasn’t listed in there. Crap! I looked in the online phonebook, and it wasn’t there either. Shit! I did find a listing for the doctor who I had seen at Vista Optical, but he’s got his own practice now … at least that’s what it looks like.

You’d think that they would have notified all their patients that they were closing. I’m still at the same address as the last time I went. But I got NO notice of this. Now I need to look for a new eye doctor. And they aren’t gonna have my records. I’m not sure what to do about this. There isn’t another Vista Optical in town either.

I’m gonna have to ask around work for recommendations. I want to find an affordable eye doctor. Maybe I should just go to the Walmart Vision Center. Has anyone had any experience with them?
