Dammit … dammit … dammit … I completely forgot about the fact that I cashed out my 401k at the start of last year. Since I was no longer working for “them”, I wouldn’t be adding any more to it. And it wasn’t enough to rollover into another account. AND I really needed the money since I was out of work. Now I have to wait for another form before I can do my taxes. Dammit. I contacted the bank it was through via their contact form. If I don’t get a response tomorrow, I’m going to call them on Friday to find out what’s up. I want that form so I can file my taxes. I don’t think I’m going to be getting much money back …

Today was good. No issues at work. I bought Kenny Chesney’s new CD after work. I also got a new shirt and pj pants (they’re huge [xxl] and comfy).

And in the mail were the forms I was waiting for from SLND and JSND so I can do my taxes. Lisa printed off the forms for me (I don’t have any ink for my printer) so I can see how much I’m getting back. I’m going to file online, and I believe I can e-file for free again. I’ll have to check out the site a little more to know for sure. Hopefully I’ll still get a good chunk back even though I didn’t work for almost half the year. I had ‘em take taxes out of it, so that should help. I’m still not sure if I’m going to use the refund to pay off some of my credit card balance or put it in a savings account or actually buy a new monitor. I’ll have to wait and see how much I get back.
