Best Funnel Cake EVER
I went to RibFest on Saturday with Lisa and Robin. We ran into Neal (or rather he ran across us) as we were eating. [I had a brisket sandwich. HUGE. And only $6! Not bad.]
After we ate, we mosied up toward the stage to grab a spot to stand. Emerson Drive was playing Saturday nite. I decided I wanted to get a funnel cake so I could have it eaten before the concert started. I HAD to have a funnel cake. I love ‘em.
So … we headed down to get me a funnel cake and Lisa a pop. We were almost at the funnel cake stand, and this lady comes up to us and asks if we’d like to meet Emerson Drive. 
Duh! Um .. YEAH!! So all 4 of us got passes to go backstage before the show to meet Emerson Drive.
And all ‘cuz of a little sticker …
You see … the local radio station, Froggy 99.9FM, was giving out passes to people who were wearing the stickers. I listen to Froggy at work and in my car, so I knew they were doing this. I was hoping to get a pass but never thought I actually would.
We got our passes autographed …
And we got a pic of all 4 of us with Emerson Drive …
Neal took a video with his cell phone. I NEED to get that from him.
After our brush with fame 
we went out and grabbed a spot for the show. We were about 3 or 4 rows from the stage, close to the middle. Very good spot. I took 116 pics I only uploaded 115 though. Some were a bit blurry (dammit … you’d think I’d have the hang of that camera by now). You can see the pics I took in the photo gallery.
And that’s the story of the “best funnel cake ever!!”. And yes .. it did taste good too.
