Playing Catch-Up
I’ve been meaing to post just randome stuff, but my website has been down since Saturday morning 
I mentioned that I was going to RibFest on Wednesday to see Little Texas. I did … with Robin and a couple of her friends (Tracy and Marie). I had fun hanging out with them, but the concert disappointed me. They played a lot of their old (classic) stuff in medleys. And they played more new stuff than old (they’ve got a new CD coming out this fall). I don’t know. They’re just not what I expected. Maybe it’s because “back in the day”, they had Brady Seals 
and Tim Rushlow and neither are with them anymore. Dont’ get me wrong … they were still good. Just not what I was hoping.
On to Friday … the last day of the work week … 
I was named “Geek of the Month” at work. Basically, it’s employee of the month, but since we’re a geeky company (web design/hosting), we have to have something geeky. I got a $10 gift certificate for Best Buy too. Hmmm … what CD do I want? 
Next is Saturday. Well … you already know what happened then.
Other random stuff …
I’m trying my damnedest to drink less pop. I’m not giving it up entirely. I just don’t plan on buying any more cases. I drink way too much. I could easily drink 4 or 5 cans during one day on the weekend. Not good. I’ll still buy a bottle every now and then or get some when/if I go out to eat or get fast food. I’m trying to drink more water and lemonade/koolaid now. I should get the sugar free kind. But let me work up to that. LOL
Now I just need to get off my ass and start exercising. I had planned on going for walks after work, but that hasn’t happened yet. Bad Becky!
Work has been good lately. Except for this afternoon. I wanted to strangle a client. I was SO upset. I dont’ think I calmed down ’til after I left. I was going to stay until 6pm … I’ve been working an extra hour Mon - Thurs for the past couple of weeks for the overtime … but I was too pissed to today. I’m not sure if I’m going to tomorrow or Wed now either. I’ll just have to see.
Next week is my VACATION!! I’m not going anywhere. But the fair is here that week. There are a few concerts I plan on going to (and then there’s the beer garden after the shows ). Hopefully I’ll get more (good) pics. I’m sure gonna try.
Well … that’s about it. You’re all caught up on me. Boy aren’t I an exciting person … LOL.
