Mood: bitchy

For some reason when I got home from work tonite, I decided to calculate how long it would take me to pay off some of my debt. I make my last car payment in December (great … that means my car is gonna blow up in January … ). That’ll give me an extra $250 a month starting the first of the year.

I’ve decided that I’m gonna split that $250 up between my 2 credit cards to try to pay the damn things off so I can cut ‘em up and a savings account. I had a good chunk of change in savings a few years ago. But that was when I was unemployed … and that disappeared fast since it took me so long to find my current job. So my savings is completely gone now. I NEED to build that back up so I don’t have to use credit cards when I need the money … like this Friday (more than likely) at the eye doctor. HOPEFULLY I can get some contacts and glasses (I really hope my eyes have gotten better. I think they have. The computer screen isn’t so fuzzy anymore.).

I’m planning on adding an extra $100 to one credit card and $50 to the other and then $100 in savings. If I do that, the first credit card *should* be paid off in October 2007 (barring any emergencies). After that one is paid off, then I’ll take about $125 of what was going to that card toward the other. Following that schedule, the second credit card should be paid off by July 2008.

That would mean that my credit cards would be paid off in 2 years! That would be SO nice. But I know I’ll never be able to follow that schedule … no matter how hard I try. Something always comes up just when I think I’m starting to get ahead. Aren’t I the eternal pessimist … LOL.

And hopefully come tax time, I’ll actually get a refund this time. They’re taking more out of my paycheck, so I sure hope to hell that I do. I could put part of that towards the first credit card and get it paid off even sooner. And then put a chunk in savings. That would be so nice. But since my car is paid off in December, I’m sure it’ll blow up just in time for me to have to spend that tax refund on it.

Mood: stressed

Urg … I ate too much for supper … I’m gonna go crash on the couch for a while ’til I feel better. I have to go to Walmart yet tonite. But then again … I *could* wait ’til tomorrow after work …

‘Cuz I’m sure my Mom would like to see what I had for supper … here it is …

Dammit. I knew I shoulda stopped for gas this morning on my way to work. From this morning to this afternoon, gas went up 10¢ a gallon … from $2.89 to $2.99 a gallon. But I guess I shouldn’t complain. At the gas station across the street from the one I go to, gas is $3.04 a gallon.

Mood: hungry

Do you ever have one of those days where you just wanna go off on a co-worker? Just tell ‘em to “Fuck Off”? Or even smack ‘em?

OMG … did I ever feel like that this afternoon. He thought it was SO hilarious. I wasted I don’t know how much time trying to figure out why my preview wasn’t working properly. It turned out that I was missing a fucking spacer image. I thought he was going to start rolling around on the floor laughing. How the hell am I supposed to know that you fucker? The images aren’t in CVS. I wanted to tell him to “kiss my fucking rosey red ass” … but of course, I didn’t. But it sure fucked up the rest of my day.

I feel like I could do one of those Valley Fair “let your scream out” commercials right now. I could so scream.

Now I need to figure out what the hell I’m going to eat for supper. I had a crappy salad for dinner that didn’t even come close to filling me up. My stomach was starting to hurt by the time I got home from work. I’m eating Pringles now to tide myself over ’til I figure out what I’m going to eat. And I supposed I should go to CashWise tonite and get some bread and deli meat so I have something for dinner tomorrow at work.

Then I think I’ll come home and crack open one or two of those beers Lisa left for me from the 12-pack she bought on Saturday.
